Not Dead Yet 12″ – The Bad Examples

The Bad Examples are a rock band from Chicago consisting of Terry Wathen on drums, Tom O’Brien on lead guitar, Pickles Piekarski on bass and Ralph Covert on rhythmn guitar and lead vocals. The band released the Not Dead Yet 12″ with AEMMP Records in 1989 after a city wide search. The 12″ included three songs “Over My Shoulder”, “Little Disasters” and “Not Dead Yet”, “Not Dead Yet” was later covered by Styx on their 1990 album “Edge of the Century”. The success of the band culminated in a record deal with CNR Records of Holland receiving a $7,000 advance for publishing rights and $30,000 for recording.
